Is there any place donates cars to people in need?

Since my car is not working I am in need of transportation for work. I can not afford one because of bad credit and no money to put down. Are there organizations that donates cars to people in need and can not afford to purchase one? Even better that will repair my car at no cost. I live in Indiana and work in Ohio.

Is the price of existing Pontiac cars going up or down?

Kerstyne asked:

Since the Pontiac brand is no longer going to be sold, are the prices of the cars going to go up or down, and by how much? I’m looking into getting a Pontiac Vibe and if possible I’d like to use this as leverage to lower the price.

Seriously , why do cars go so fast ?

fast cars
BIG HAIRY KNACKERS asked:

Why , when we have speed limits in all developed countries do we continue to make cars faster and faster ?
I’m not against fast cars (I have a audi v8) but it seems ridiculous that governments spend millions on road safety and the like and we still produce cars that can get to the speed limit in 3 seconds .
Does anyone else see this as hypocritical ?

If the automakers go into bankruptcy how much will their cars cost?

spartanmike asked:

What percentage discount do you think the cars will have if they file for bankruptcy? It is known that people do not like buying large durable goods from companies in bankruptcy, do you think there would be tremendous discounts in order to liquidate assets? like new cars for less than 5,000?
While I appreciate the first answer I wasn’t asking a normative question about what to do with tax dollars it is a practical one about future pricing.

It is pretty dumb. Why are there speed limits when we know that there are fast cars that reaches it’s speed limit higher than the signs of speed limit on the street or somewhere?

The situation in Iraq….
The economy….
Health care…
Terrorism….
Immigration….
Environment/global warming….
Energy policy…..

Unsure….

I would say energy. Most of our problems stem from our addiction to and over-dependence on foreign oil. Just a small increase in average gas mileage of our cars would be equivalent to many ANWRs for instance.
