What is with the cop cars racing around in lines?

No, they aren’t chasing anybody. And it bothers me that they’re doing this everyday, during rush hours and at 1 in the morning among some of the times.

I’m not against fast cars (I have a audi v8) but it seems ridiculous that governments spend millions on road safety and the like and we still produce cars that can get to the speed limit in 3 seconds .
