I am going to start actively buying car at car auctions here at Denver Colorado, but I was wondering, does anyone know in what state you can get cars at auctions for the cheapest?
Let me rephrase the question as I can see I left some space for misinterpretation.

*AT* what state in the USA are auction cars the cheapest?

I heard that some people purchase cars out of state to avoid high sales tax here in California. Does this work or is it worth it for new or used cars? Does anyone know whats involved? Would it be worth it to even fly to another state and then drive back? Anyone have any experience in this area?

In the 90’s there were the Saturns, and some Japanese cars like the Eclipse, etc.

But now you have cheap costing pieces of crap like the Aveo. What happened?

I’ve been looking at some and they are really nice cars for like $1500. Is it viable and legit to buy seized cars? What’s the catch? What should I avoid or be cautious of?

What kind of new car interest rates can I get with a substantial down payment?

I have no chargeoffs, and have never been late with any bills, rent, tuition, etc. I’m interested in purchasing a car to replace my gas-guzzling truck now that I’ve landed a great entry-level financial position, and I’m curious as to what to expect from my situation. The car I intend to purchase has an MSRP of $21,000, and I intend to put right around $9,000 down and pay the tax up front (TX 8.25%). I’ve calculated some payment estimates, but since my credit isn’t established, I’m wondering what type of rate I can expect to pay on my loan. I intend to finance the car for 60 months. With a substantial down payment of more than 40% of the car’s value, and net income of $25,000 a year, will I still have a difficult time getting reasonable financing with my young credit history?

What kinds of cars get good mileage, but can still go fast?

I am in the market for a new car, with around a $5000 budget. I want a good economy car, most likely a 4 cylinder, but I want it to be able to go fast when I want it to. For example, I have a friend who keeps talking up his Saab 900 turbo. What are some cars that get good mileage, but still have some power.

This question was deleted the first time and I don’t know why, but it does not make me happy.

moonfairy1616 asked:

I am 17 and looking for my first car. As an early graduation present, my grandparents are buying me the car…I would like to get a reasonable car, but I still want something “cool”

I am currently looking at a 2004 Mustang GT (I am not a fan of the later body styles) and a 2008 Mazda RX8, but I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on another car that may be good.

Thanks!
